Social media for good beats corporations advertising at supporting HealthyFood diet

Social media beats corporate advertising at supporting a healthy diet

social media combats corporate advertising

Healthy diet requires ongoing affirmations and support to combat the onslaught of advertising from food corporations. Cheap ingredients in fancy presentation and packaging make more profit.

Marty says - diet fads don't work. Many of them have people doing ridiculous things.

Pete says - Some diets, and 'food facts' are promoted by vested interests, for profit. This muddies the waters.

The problem is, adverts are assaulting people all day every day; sound nutritional and exercise policy isn't, and doesn't have the funds to compete.

Fortunately, social media can replace the corporate onslaught with people-powered support networks. That's us!

Latest news : (January 2018) emphasises the role of exercise in promoting gut health.

  1. How Use #socialmedia at a Protest Without Big Brother Snooping socialmedia news USA.

If you’re marching or protesting today, or any day, you may take photos or videos and maybe some livestreaming.

So long as you’re in public places and aren’t breaking any other laws, that is your legally protected right in the USA.

But just as smartphones are increasingly able to broadcast events and promote transparency, law enforcement technology has evolved to take advantage.

FBI and state facial recognition databases now include information about almost half of all US adults, and this technology can be (and has been) deployed to monitor protesters.
