If you have problems digesting wheat, intolerance or Coeliac disease, this pancake recipe is for you. If you have access to free range hens' eggs, so much the better.

Alternatives to wheat include oatmeal, 'gluten free flour' (mostly potato flour), ground almonds, ...

  1. And make sure to put real maple syrup on your cakes. The stuff sold as pancake syrup has never seen a maple tree but has seen many ingrediants that are bad for you..... :)

  2. #wheat free pancakes with honey and sunflower oil in the mix worked for me. I used 2 large eggs, so added some gluten free flour - perfect :)

    ground almonds and cinnamon also appeal ...
