Renewable energy to surpass coal and nuclear by 2030


 Renewable energy is expected to surpass nuclear power by 2020 and coal by 2028 to become the second largest source of U.S. electricity generation after natural gas.

Renewable energy (including wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, and hydro-power) share of U.S. electricity generation grows from 13 percent in 2015 to 24 percent in 2030, and 27 percent in 2040, with almost all of the growth from wind and solar PV.

I know what you mean - hence my will to be as independent of, and informed about, the ploys of the corporate world.

Incidentally, in UK English, Trump is a slang expression for expelling wind from one's derrière ...
