Belief - poems of the spirit

There's 95 religions, 96 of them know this,

'The others are all damned, but for me eternal bliss.'

A child approaches the sea, step ... step.

The architects of power know 'the ends condone the means.

'After this "last" holy war the survivors will agree.'

A child enters the stream, eyes ... wide.

There's so much knowing going on that I'm afraid we'll sink.

the child is wiser, I believe. That's what I feel ... I think.

The adult enters the day; mind ... set.

There's 95 religions, 96 of them know this,

'The others are all damned, but for me eternal bliss.'

The children enter the sea, world ... wide.
