Eternity survived - mystical poetry

I walked, and suddenly

Perfect light

Perfect birdsong, perfect breeze

I understood everything, yet nothing

I was everywhere, yet nowhere

So I sat

Eternity settled on, and in, the landscape

One passed by and proclaimed the merits of

Manicuring one’s lawn, endlessly

Until the soaps start

Eternity survived

One passed by reminding her companion

Of the reality of current illusions

And of her need to keep repeating this

Eternity survived

One passed by reminding his companion

Of the reality of collective fantasy

And of his need to keep repeating this

Eternity survived

Eternity survives

I felt the need to tell
